We didn’t just eat in Tokyo, we also explored the city’s many neighborhoods. \u00a0Here are some of our favorite pics:<\/p>\n

Tony really liked this building in Shinjuku – \u00a0he called it the USB Stick building.<\/p>\n

We toured Mitsukoshi Department Store’s food court. \u00a0They look like they should be selling perfumes, but instead it’s tons of yummy gourmet foods…<\/p>\n

We went to Asakusa to visit the Senso-ji Buddhist temple. \u00a0Souvenir\u00a0stalls paved the way to the temple:<\/p>\n

One of our favorite discoveries was an street called Kappabashi – otherwise known as \u00a0“Kitchen town”. \u00a0This area near Asakusa is a haven for both professional and\u00a0amateur\u00a0chefs – it’s where you can find everything you need to run a restaurant.<\/p>\n

Check this store out. \u00a0It’s all plastic foods!<\/p>\n

We saw this cutie hanging out in the trash truck waiting for it’s owner – a garbage collector – to finish his task.<\/p>\n

It’s Christmas-time in Omotesando – a posh area that we visited one night.<\/p>\n

Omotesando\u00a0is home to a great toy store called Kiddie Land. \u00a0Tony saw this Humping dog USB stick… we weren’t quite sure what it was doing in a kids toy store!<\/p>\n

While wandering around Omotesando, we happened upon a little slice of home…<\/p>\n

… and a mobile espresso cafe, complete with benches and portable tables outside.<\/p>\n

We also discovered what people do after work – head to the nearest Pachinko\u00a0parlor. \u00a0 It’s like Vegas in there!<\/p>\n

We liked this photo because of the mix of old tradition and new technology…<\/p>\n

Of course, we HAD to eat at some point. \u00a0We had dinner in Ginza at Kakoiya, which features some traditional foods. \u00a0We had something similar to a shabu shabu.<\/p>\n

Our overflowing sake… They overfill the sake on purpose because it makes it look like you’re getting a lot.<\/p>\n

We thought this was a cool way to promote a new product.<\/p>\n
