Chen, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/tony-chen\/4756410635\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4096\/4756410635_09c403c890_z.jpg\" alt=\"Luling City Market, Luling, TX\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When you walk in to this place, you know it&#8217;s the real deal. \u00a0 It&#8217;s simple inside, with basic tables and booths, and dimly lit with fluorescent lighting. \u00a0It&#8217;s not about the decor here, because you don&#8217;t need any &#8211; it already has ambiance, between the local clientele and the Texas twang you overhear.<\/p>\n<p>To get your meat, you go to the smoker room in the back where the guys pictured below sell you pork ribs, beef brisket by the pound, and smoked sausage by the link. \u00a0You can also get your pickles, pickled jalapeno, pickled banana pepper, and sliced white bread back here.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a title=\"Luling City Market, Luling, TX by T.
